You can choose from four apartments to spend your holiday in Pienza, in the heart of the typical Tuscan countryside: il Forno, la Torre, la Capriata, and la Corte. These highly evocative names call to mind countless stories you can fantasize about. Each apartment has a private entryway overlooking the lovely courtyard, where you can also find a firewood oven perfect for outdoor cooking.
The bright rooms are furnished in a rustic yet sober style: the ceilings with exposed wooden beams, the terracotta tile floors, the homely fireplaces, the authentic Tuscan furniture – everything convey a unique warmth that makes you feel at home.
However, there is no lack of comfort. All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, central heating, refrigerator and electric oven – while each room has a bathroom with shower, as well as satellite TV and telephone. You can fully enjoy moments of relax in our tidy garden with swimming pool admiring a breathtaking panorama of Pienza and its countryside, which will never cease to amaze you.
IL FORNO
This is one of the two apartments located on the ground floor. The apartment, named after the old firewood oven that is right next to its front door, overlooks the lovely courtyard of the Macchione holiday farm. Inside, it consists of a large and comfortable living room that also serves as a kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
LA CORTE
The other apartment located on the ground floor is named after its front door that opens directly onto the characteristic courtyard of the farm. Inside, the first room you will find is the living room with kitchenette and two double bedrooms. Both rooms are also equipped with private bathroom with shower (no shared bathroom).
LA CAPRIATA
The apartment, located on the upper floor of the structure, is named after the ancient and picturesque truss vaulted ceiling dominating the large living room. At the centre of this living room there is a traditional table, encouraging conviviality and conversation, rounded out by a large fireplace, a kitchenette and two comfortable sofas. A bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with a romantic canopy bed complete the refined picture of this elegant residence.
LA TORRE
The tower house structure, a typical element of Tuscan architecture, names this charming and picturesque apartment divided into two levels. The entryway, on the first floor, allows immediate access to the living room with kitchen, whereas on the side there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor, you’ll find the actual tower, that comprises a bathroom with shower, a storage space and a bedroom. The view from this room is particularly suggestive.
